Testimonials

“I worked with Cath on the delivery of the volunteer programme at the Team GB King’s Cross Fan Zone. The programme consisted of over 200 volunteers across 6 days. Cath’s ability to think on her feet, make quick decisions and solve problems was a fantastic support.

Cath took time to build relationships with each and every member of the team. Her positive and uplifting energy helped to create excitement amongst the volunteers. She made everyone feel like part of a team and helped encourage everyone to get involved despite the changing weather conditions. She was passionate and genuinely interested in the success of the event, testament to her character.

I loved working with Cath, and it was a pleasure to learn so much from her. I would highly recommend her for any future event especially in the sporting industry.”

“I had the pleasure of working with Cath setting up and managing one of the most successful cycling venues in the world. Cath was a central and key member of the set up and venue senior management team of Lee Valley VeloPark taking handover and opening the venue to the public following London 2012. Cath did a great job leading various teams developing processes and systems ready for opening and was a well organised and well regarded team leader. Cath also embraced additional training and development opportunities as well as her masters degree developing skills in event safety and management and did great work on major national and world level cycling and kayak events.”

“Working at MLB was an absolute pleasure as Cath was at the helm. She kept us well informed and treated everyone fairly (plus made sure we were looked after), all around everything she needed to do for the venue, clients and everyone else. Everything she did was with a smile on her face and a radio in her ear (on event day).
One of the best co-ordinators I've had the pleasure to meet and work with. Thank you Cath for all your support - i personally can't wait to work with you again, and I know you're an asset to any team.

Liz Jones, Venue Manager

I had the pleasure of working for Cath at the MLB London Series. She was leading the MLB London Diamonds volunteer program, across both the training and organisation prior to the event as well as managing the whole team across the event weekend.

Everything ran smoothly, thanks to her ability to successfully organise, brief and deploy a large volunteer workforce. As one of the Spectator Services Team Leaders, my role was made easier thanks to her quality of briefings and ability to set clear expectations for our teams. She had put a great team process in place for the MLB Diamonds over the whole weekend, which gave everyone clarity and consistency with their roles and responsibilities.

Being part of the volunteer team is often a fluid and sometimes challenging role. Thanks to Cath's organisational excellence and preparation, it made our roles a lot more straight forward and allowed us to focus on delivering a brilliant spectator experience.

Any major event would benefit from her skills and organisational wizardry!

Demi-Chant Reid, Programmes Officer

Cath works really hard to make sure that everything gets done. I worked with Cath for MLB in London 2024 and Cath's dedication to the team was outstanding.
Great communications during the selection process, pre-event training and pre-event reminders. Timely, efficient and useful are all descriptions I'd use for the communications.
During the event Cath was super busy, running around listening to two radio walkie-talkies, but still made time to listen to her staff (of nearly 400) and be personable with all of them.
I would recommend Cath for pretty much any role that involves people, planning and events.”

Tim Clark, Senior Project Manager
